David Boice

Partner

David Boice is a self-made entrepreneur and financier. Throughout his career, he has owned numerous companies in the technology, real estate, marine and automotive industries. Boice co-founded two of the largest technology and consulting companies (AutoMark and Cyber Car) in the automotive industry with an enterprise value of $200 million.

David was born in Columbus, GA, February 7th 1965, to Craig and JoAnn Boice and is the product of a distinguished military family. His father, Craig H. Boice, was drafted as a private only to retire early as a 2-star Major General. General Boice served on the Joint Chiefs of Staff under both Reagan and Bush, received the prestigious National Defense Meritorious Medal and is one of the most decorated generals in the Army’s history. Serving twice as an infantry officer during the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Soldier’s Medal, 3 Silver Stars, 4 Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and the Distinguished Service Cross. Upon General Boice’s retirement from the military, the two Boices embarked upon, what would become the largest and most profitable internet company in the automotive industry.

At the early age of 22, Boice co-founded his first technology company, AutoMark. He and his partners doggedly built the company from the ground up before selling in 2000 as part of one of the largest technology transactions in the automotive industry.

Sean Wolfington

CEO / Partner

At the age of 34 Wolfington was a finalist in Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” which was won by Wayne Huizenga, founder of Blockbuster and Autonation, the previous year. Wolfington was also recently named the 2010 “Entrepreneur of Year” and listed on the Haute 100 Most Influential list by Haute Living magazine.

Wolfington’s film production company, the One Media, produced three major motion pictures: “Self-Medicated”, the most award winning film of 2006 (38 awards), “The MightyMacs” and “Bella”. “Bella”, won the largest festival in the world (Toronto International Film Festival) and was the #1 Top Rated Film in 2007 by the largest film review site in the world RottenTomatoes.com. “Bella” was also the #1 grossing film of 2007 in its category.

Before starting the production company, Wolfington founded some of the most successful marketing and consulting companies in the automotive industry – Automark and Cyber Car (sold to Reynolds and Reynolds in 2001) and BZ Results (sold to ADP in 2006). BZ Results was recognized as the “Innovative Company of the Year” for pioneering digital marketing in the automotive industry and enabling billions of dollars of retail sales over the Internet.

Scott Rodgers

Creative Director / Partner

Very few Automotive Advertising Creative Directors are born into the car business. Scott Rodgers grew up in his father’s dealerships providing him with an automotive foundation and depth of knowledge that few if any Creative Directors have. Scott began his automotive career selling cars in the family dealership.  He learned the basics of sales and the foundation of direct customer interaction in sales.  His education was enhanced by also seeing the business from the perspective of an owner or general manager.  Scott learned about the interactivity of all departments and the importance of profitability.

While perfecting his style and craft at his father’s stores, Scott’s work caught the eye of many top dealers. With numerous offers and a desire to branch out on his own, Scott began his “solo” career as the Creative Director at The Koons Automotive Companies based in Northern Virginia, where he teamed up with Scott Fletcher for the first time. A self-taught student of design, Rodgers has the “it” factor, a gift for creative and design that just can’t be taught.

Rodgers’ quality of work, passion for design, and pursuit of perfection has vaulted him into rare air when it comes to the merging creative design and automotive advertising. Scott Fletcher

Senior Account Director / Partner

Born and raised in the Washington metro area, Has spent his entire career in the Automotive Advertising arena.

Starting his career out at one of Washington DCs premiere ad agencies in Georgetown gave Scott an unfair advantage. The agency handled one of the top Automotive groups in the country, The Jim Koons Automotive Company, Papa John’s Pizza and Chili’s Restaurant chains, and Washington, D.C.-based FlavoRx, a manufacturer of flavorings used in children’s medications., as well as some of DCs largest political spenders. After the agency merged with another national powerhouse, Scott had the opportunity to join the Koons Automotive Company as the Marketing Director and accept the challenge to build an in house Agency. Where he met Scott Rodgers.

After 6 years of building and running the department, the group became one of the top 15 dealer groups in the nation, the largest Internet dealer as well as one of the top 5 Toyota dealers in the nation. The gold standard for in-house ad agencies had been achieved right before he was hand picked by the Vice President of AutoNation to join Zimmerman Advertising and manage the North East Region accounts for AutoNation.

In 2008 Fletcher left Zimmerman to team up with Scott Rodgers, David Boice and Sean Wolfington to start Tier10 Marketing. Using what he learned from some of the best minds in The automotive business, he began to help develop an innovative marketing system that incorporates best practices, strategies, award winning creative and simply the the passion to be #1.

Ron Morrison

West Coast Ambassador

Ron has over 18 years of marketing experience in the automotive industry. Throughout his career Ron has leveraged a deep knowledge and expertise in automotive marketing and technology solutions for the automotive industry. His creative results-oriented sales approach has been signature to the results and success that dealerships, dealer groups, sales teams, and vendors have enjoyed by working with him. Ron’s leadership in social media, consumer-connection, and digital marketing has paved the way for his successful business start-ups in environments like retail automotive, consumer platforms, and social media.

Ralph Paglia

VP Digital

Since January 2011, Ralph has focused on building out Tier10’s digital marketing, advertising, social media, reputation management and related capabilities for achieving the goals of Tier10 Marketing clients.  Prior to joining the Tier10 Marketing team, Ralph Paglia served as Director of Digital Marketing Solutions at ADP Dealer Services, which is one the largest dealer solution providers in the world. Paglia began his career in the auto industry at De La Fuente Automotive Group in San Diego, where he worked his way up the dealer group’s career ladder serving in roles that included sales representative, closer, sales manager, GSM and general manager. He has also served in various roles at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company, including OEM consulting practice leader and OEM partnership executive, and has led the development and design of nationally implemented Internet sales and digital marketing programs for several car companies, including Ford Motor Company, American Honda Motor Company, Mercedes-Benz USA and Toyota Motor Sales.

Darren VanCleave

Darren possesses over 25 years of success as a Leader in the Automotive Industry and as a Business Executive and Entrepreneur. By the age of 40, he owned and operated eight companies worldwide. Over the course of his career, Darren served as Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Training for the Joe Verde Group and served in many roles with Reynolds & Reynolds/Half-A-Car, including Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for their training services, Regional Sales Coordinator, Regional Training Manager, College Instructor, and Trainer. He has also enjoyed many years of success in dealerships: Darren began selling cars at the age of 17 while working his way through college. He quickly became ranked as one of the top five salespeople nationally for three different brands, and has served as Dealer Principal, General Manager, GSM, and F&I Director.

Daymond Decker

A highly experienced pioneer in Automotive Product Marketing, Daymond possesses a strong 16-year background in defining, developing, designing and delivering Digital and Mobile Technologies. His substantial knowledge of automotive sales, market research, product development and product marketing makes him highly effective in launching and managing successful digital products in North America. Daymond’s projects have generated multi-million dollar revenues within the highly competitive and rapidly changing automotive industry. He is an exceedingly focused leader with the ability to motivate colleagues and generate results.

Andrew Diffenderfer

Marketing Director

Andrew has over 12 years experience in the automotive industry and began his automotive career working as a sales consultant and new car manager for his local Honda dealership. Upon completing graduate studies at Mount St. Mary’s University Andrew joined the American Honda Motor Company sales division. Most recently, Andrew worked on the Marketing Team at Subaru of America where he focused on Subaru Owner events and special marketing initiatives for dealers and promotional partners.  In his free time he enjoys working on cars, snowboarding, and competing in triathlons.

Adam Stone

Regional Marketing Director

Adam joined Tier10 Marketing after 11 years with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Most recently as the Regional Field Sales Manager for Toyota’s Boston Region, Adam held many other positions during his tenure, including Regional Merchandising and Incentives Manager and Regional Market Representation Manager. Adam was also a key team member that launched Toyota’s Scion brand in 2004 and launched Toyota’s 2007 Tundra, the biggest marketing launch ever in the U.S. for Toyota. Adam is passionate about the retail automotive industry, e-commerce and digital marketing and attaining successful business results through the pursuit of constant improvement.

Joseph Olesh

Emerging Media Director

Joseph Olesh is the Emerging Media Director at Tier10 Marketing. Olesh is an award-winning filmmaker, with 15 years industry experience producing ads and short films. A tenured director, Olesh’s independent work — which ranges from national commercials to art films, documentary shorts to music videos – has been recognized by the Open Internet Coalition, and was also featured in 50Interviews latest book, “Video Marketing Pioneers.” Olesh has also directed and edited a six-commercial campaign for the Barack Obama Presidential Campaign with TwoVoters.com, as well as a national 30-second spot for DWS Investments, a Deutsche Bank Company. Other notable clients include Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week and musicians LMFAO, Wolfgang Gartner, and Low vs Diamond.

Jodi Onoffrey

Research Director

Jodi has 14 years of automotive experience that began with new car sales and includes managing Internet Sales, BDC, Sales Training and Marketing Departments for a top-performing automotive group.  Jodi has extensive knowledge of the automotive industry and works closely with R.L. Polk and other Data Sources to conduct extensive market research providing clients with powerful assessments and strategies for protecting their markets.  Jodi lives with her husband, two sons and three dogs.  In her spare time, she volunteers and fosters for http://lostdogrescue.org and http://tigresq.tripod.com.

Alex Campuzano brings over 23 years of experience in the areas of graphic design and production ranging from corporate identity and branding to print and digital and media advertising. Alex brings expertise in the field of multimedia including video and 2D/3D animation. Utilizing cutting-edge motion graphics, state-of-the art character animation, the latest in non-linear video applications to merge editing, professional voice over talent and title graphics with animation, Alex has the skills to bring any client’s vision to life whether it’s through the realm of the Internet or broadcast and cable television.

Luisana Suegart

PR Director

A multi-faceted media professional, Luisana Suegart has experience in almost every medium from television to print, online and everything in between from Miami to New York. Since earning a degree in Mass Communications from Florida International University, she has interviewed some of South Florida’s most fascinating personalities and has been a staple in the local social scene while coordinating and covering local events. Based out of Tier10’s Miami office, Luisana has developed highly successful personal brand and online reputation management plans for our dealer principals, while generating valuable publicity for each account. Luisana was born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in Miami. Her hobbies include exercising and developing healthy recipes for her cooking blog, www.thefitcook.net.
